Desperate Housewives....one of the best prime-time soaps!!! You gotta watch it!

Hey all.... Have you ppl watched Desperate Housewives lately???? Yeah well it's been sometime since it has been aired..but it's really cool and funny and so true. It reflects alot of things that happen in our neighbourhoods...well ofcourse this is westernised... here's a little review into the series : "how much do you really want to know about your neighbours?" All is not as it seems on Wisteria Lane, the pristinely manicured suburban setting of televisions hottest prime-time soap. We learn this within the first few minutes of the DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES pilot episode, when seemingly sane and happy housewife Mary Alice Young removes a revolver from a drawer and shoots herself in the head. The show basically asks "how much do you really want to know about your neighbours?" The problem is that, as Susan Mayer says, "Sometimes people pretend to be one way on the outside when they are totally different on the inside." That's something true of everyone on the show. You gotta watch this...it's really amazing and quite cool..I'm sure you would love it instantly!:) Like we did...:)

Hey everyone...a very good morning to you all! I'm feeling kinda bored and sad coz Jay left to India for a week yesterday morning. It's vacation time and this is the time that the two of us plan a couple of day outs and go shopping.....and where I get scolded for all the rings that I tend to buy..wat to do guys, I jus luv rings as a part of accessories!!!!!!!! N e ways, the reason Jay left is b'coz her grandma wasn't feeling too well. So guys and gals, lets all remember my best friend's grandma in our daily prayers and wish her good health. Thanks to you all.. And Jay,when you read this post, don't forget to bring me some chocolates and oh well yes, a comprehensive update of wat u've been upto...and ofcourse...all the juicy details of the guys there....esp the fair, tall and big made ones...heheheee... Miss you Jay..take care and God Bless....and this time, she won't be the first to call me early morning on the 1st of Jan...How sad!!!:(

Harry Potter & the Goblet Of Fire...

Has anyone had the chance to watch the latest Harry Potter movie??? well after reading the book, we should say that every bit of detail is definitely not there in the movie and the book was really awesome!!!! But still at this age, we never really get tired of that series...It's incredible...We really admire the amazing ability of J.K Rowling's imagination and the way she twists her stories...:)

well the movie was really cool....for those of you who watched it, let us know what you guys think of it..It has definitely got a brilliant rating in the U.S and U.K and is among the top 10 Box Office list too...

For those of you who didn't get to watch it......it's never too late...The sneak previews are strong enough to tempt those Harry Potter fans to grab it and enjoy..:)

Hey ppl, when we were surfing the web, came across this hilarious article....BUT PLS, Don't take these humorous diet tips too seriously, they're just for fun!


Success is when you can look beyond food...and look down and see your feet.


* To make your hips and thighs look slim on the beach, dig two tunnels under your thighs and make a small dent in the sand for your bottom. Place your towel over the top and sit in the dug out area. Hey presto, no bulging thighs and hips.

* Always stand 3/4 on for photographs ..... really slimming

* Stand next to a person fatter than you whenever possible and never ever befriend a real skinny!!!

* Always eat in private, if people never see you eat, they'll believe you when you say you have a thyroid problem

* If you have a problem with eating too much in the evenings, go to bed at 7.30 pm every night and ask your partner to hand cuff you to the bed, you never know, you may solve two problems in one, by spicing up your sex life at the same time ;)

A different opinion...

As we all know, Miss Iceland, Unnur Birna Vilhjalmsdottir, a part-time police officer who wants to be a lawyer, was crowned Miss World 2005. Well yes it would have been one tough competition. But on a personal note, many girl gangs do agree 2nd runners up Miss Puerto Rico, Ingrid Marie Rivera Santos, was definitely much more prettier and looks more deserving... What is it that Unnur had over Ingrid???????

Well yes, we do remember listening to the former Miss world saying that she looks at women who have a more innocent look on their faces and especially the look they have in their eyes is of more importance..... But don't you think it can be very deceiving and biased??? It's a little confusing here......

We've learnt that we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change

Change is inevitable.....isn't it? Both of us went for a gathering recently where we met a few of our old school mates.Some of course haven't changed at all..They're still the same crazy people we used to know fromback then. It makes way for one to take a long stroll down memory lane of how beautiful school life was......with no worries, and all the fun times we had together.It Just makes one want to go back and live through it again... But the sad fact is that we all have to move on and leave it all behind. Then, there are people who have matured and forgotten to keep alive 'the child' in them and have become too serious that they just don't really see the importance of having fun in life anymore,which is really sad ... And then, we have people who begin to reveal a part of their true personality that we never saw before.. people who turned out to be nice have suddenly changed.....for the worse. I should say this sudden shift in their personalities is astounding as you begin to think.."what happened to them?" Why do we see a sudden change in them?? It makes life so depressing. Those who seemed to be really nice before and those who were close......are just not the same anymore. Where on earth did things go wrong? Well atleast one thing remains the same??Jay and Jinie are still the same!!!! Heheheeee?Touch Wood.... Maybe a little nuttier, and definitely a bit more mature. We have no clue as to why people change, but one thing that we can say is - never change your self. Be the same as who who were when you first met your friends and thats the best gift you can give him/her... :)Anyway guys plzz let us know why some people tend to change and be different??? And if there are changes..........may it all be for the better....:)

Hey, this is Jinie. The weather is lovely today, and all I wanted to do was sleep...Until one of my close friends Maya called me all the way from Dubai with the sad news that she just broke up with her boyfriend....Yeah well, it's not her fault. He had cheated on her and so on the story goes......Well as girls, it's always a little relieving when we 'talk it out with someone we trust'. Why worry???

Hmmm....Jinie wasn't really feeling too good about something...There was this little 'something' that kept bothering her for a while. And then one day this lovely e-mail was sent to her by Jay and it really made a lot of sense and these words would mke you feel a little better.....atleast for a little while.... well, just thought of sharing it with you all...and think about it.. Why Worry? There are only two things in life to worry about: Whether you are well or whether you are sick. If you are well, then there is nothing to worry about. But if you are sick, there are only two things to worry about: Whether you are going to get well or whether you are going to die. If you get well, then there is nothing to worry about. But if you die, there are only two things to worry about: Whether you are going to go to heaven or whether you are going to go to hell. If you go to heaven, then you have nothing to worry about. But if you go to hell, you'll be so busy shaking hands with all your friends, that you won't have time to worry! So, Why Worry? Faithful Friends are the medicine of life...PART 2

Now Jinie talks about Jay: Well….talking about Jay, I should say that we’ve known eachother for over 5 yrs and started off from School just as we started A/Ls…To cut short, she’s a “chick” (in modern terms) who loves to have fun and take life easy and something we both loved to do – bug other people!!!!!! Heheheee… We were always there for eachother during the good and bad times we’ve had to face in life and had countless occasions that have turned out to be everlasting memories… However, there is one scary fact that I’ve to mention here…although we’re accustomed to it by now, if something ever went wrong in one of our lives, something similar was sure to happen to the other…freaky isn’t it? But quite true… I should say that she is a person who gave life a meaning in the avenue of “true friendship” and definitely has never failed until this very moment….and the best part is that I still have the assurance that she will continue to be so till the end of our times on earth (which is a better way of saying, till death do us apart…..sounds very matrimonial, isn’t it?). I’ve to mention something about Pranesh, her younger bro….I always wonder why he hides from me whenever I go to her place. Well I did figure out the fact that he’s a little shy…..Then again there’s always something we never understand about our little brothers…..it’s like a mystery to be unveiled!!! Oh people….she loves to talk and talk and talk…….we constantly chat about something or the other and she definitely knows how add life to an extremely boring situation… During any kind of gathering if she’s not there……it definitely makes a difference coz one major element that adds a lot of life & fun is missing!!!!!! And her presence is always felt in a warm way…Whenever I'm feling down or in an extremely bad mood, she definitely knows the way to uplift my spirit which is very unique and something I'm always thankful for and need for the rest of my life.... So, she’s a person who loves to have fun, go shopping, chat both online & on the phone, play games, hang out, party, loves bollywood movies, sleeping, makes friends easily and would never forget to advice me in the countless things I tend to do,likes tennis, tends to undergo frequent panic attacks and of course cannot live a day without chicken!!! etc etc etc…and the list is endless….Oh and there are a few common things that we both hate…which will appear later on in this site…. Oh and I’ve to mention this, she’s also going to change one traditional aspect of weddings in her culture…..instead of playing the game that has been passed down through many generations, she’s going to play chess with her man on her wedding day….and I’m really looking forward to that day… You’ll get to know more about her as we share the crazy times we’ve had during our teenage years……

A glimpse of Jinie & Jay We realised that people are generally better at judging and describing others better than themselves....What can we do, it's afterall a part of human nature,don't you agree with us? Therefore, we decided to give a slight insight to eachother's personality.....where Jay will talk a bit about Jinie, and Jinie will talk about Jay... Let's see what Jay has to say about Jinie... "Jinie is 21 yrs old & has a very cheery character in her. She has one younger bro who just hates me to the max...what to do:(... i've been a friend of hers for nearly 6 years and we've been together at all good and bad times of life... i joined lyceum in the year 2000 and it was there where i first met her, from there onwards our friendship journey started... we were in the same school, then joined college together, we worked in the same company and now look we are doing the blog together and i'm sure u guys would know how close we are... we are just best best best pals and would remain the same forever... Jinie, she gets along with people quite well and people PLEASE watch out coz she has a very bad temper:)... hahahah.... she has a good habit and that's whenever someone is in need she is always there to help them out and give a lending hand. she make friends very quickly and quite forward. Both of us have done some really daring things to others and we shall fill u guys in a bit later... Jinie likes to party, luvs to eat gallons and gallons of ice cream, and also loves shopping. By the way, she is a MAJOR spenthrift... let me tell u one thing which she bust her money mostly on, that's RINGS... she just loves them and sooooooooooo crazy over them. I used to scold her for spending so much on them but she doesn't listen and the excuse she gives is that she can't stop buying them. She is so addicted to them... what can I do??? guys now u know what to get her for her birthday rite!!! i've let out one secrect... so just in short Jinie is a very nice person and will always be my best pal...
