Oh no...This is not what we were waiting to see....

Today we would like to share something hilarious that happened in the afternoon which also taught us all a good lesson about judging people….and the extent to which we can go wrong… Well we made an appointment with a young lady who works in a Government Office who was willing to provide us with information for a group assignment. The verbal conversation was handled by one of the guys in our group and the moment he hung up, he was soooooooo excited as the lady had sounded very “sweet” and he just couldn’t get the sweet melody of her voice out of his ears..so our friend Shawn* was overly excited and we could all sense the excitement in him and he was waiting for the day we were going to meet this lady (which was today). The appointment was made last Saturday and all that time he was trying to picture the owner of that lovely voice…Judging the sweet voice, he was expecting to find a very young, sexy & fair lady who could be small made and so on the list of features go….. In fact, he was soooo excited that he had planned out everything and was adamant that he got to do most of the talking..It’s amazing isn’t it, what wonders a seductive and nice voice can do, admist the fact that the physical features may not really match it. So, the big moment finally dawned and we were all eagerly waiting to see who this lady was that Shawn* was so interested in and was infact waiting to meet…..As the lady walked into the room, all mouths were shut….all eyes on her….and we were not sure of wat to say…as Shawn demanded that he was going to be the one to start the conversation…It’s amazing that he still had the guts to do it..But to ours and his sheer disappointment, it didn’t turn out the way he had imagined it..what we are referring to is the features of the lady... But we greatly admire his ability to stick to his plans and all went smoothly… Then we bugged him once it was all over and shared a good hearty laugh…now this topic will not fade away for a little while….he will be bugged!!:) and the advice he had for all of us was “ Never judge a woman by her voice”!!! and we would say that it’s the same for men as well….especially those with really seductive voices…they could infact turn out to be your worst nightmare………. * Names have been changed.
